{"id":380401,"date":"2024-01-13T02:32:24","date_gmt":"2024-01-12T21:32:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/?p=380401"},"modified":"2024-01-13T02:32:24","modified_gmt":"2024-01-12T21:32:24","slug":"kp-ctd-arrests-two-daesh-terrorists-in-peshawar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/kp-ctd-arrests-two-daesh-terrorists-in-peshawar\/","title":{"rendered":"KP CTD arrests two Daesh terrorists in Peshawar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Haqnawaz Shinwari<br \/>\nPeshawar<br \/>\nThe apparent target of arrested terrorists was Aimal Wali Khan and Maulana Fazalur Rehman, says CTDPESHAWAR: The Counter Terrorism Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Friday claimed to have arrested two terrorists of the banned organization Islamic State of Khorasan (ISKP), known as Daesh, from Peshawar.<br \/>\nAccording to a press release issued by CTD Peshawar that the arrested terrorists were planning to target the leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) Fazlur Rahman and Awami National Party (ANP) leader Aimal Wali Khan.<br \/>\nThe statement furthered that CTD has also recovered two suicide jackets, two hand grenades, three 9mm pistols, two smart phones and some pages of Al-Azaim magazine from a location pointed out by the arrested terrorists.<br \/>\nCTD said that the arrested persons have been identified as Adil alias Ameen son of Shireenzada resident of Peshawar and Tahir Khan alias Abbas son of Malik Khan resident of Landikotal tehsil of tribal district Khyber.<br \/>\nIt revealed that the suicide bombers arrested by the CTD Peshawar have allegedly took their training from the Paktia province of Afghanistan.
