\nChief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa has issued a big order for elimination of Kalashnikov culture from Pakistan.
\nThe court has sought all details from concerned authorities on how many arms licenses of prohibited arms were issued all over the country.
\nSupreme Court (SC) has issued notice to interior secretary, all provincial home secretaries and inspectors general police.
\nWhile issuing notice to Attorney General (AG) the court has directed to send copy of the order.
\nThis order was issued on Wednesday.
\nThe SC approved bail against surety bonds of Rs 50000 in respect of accused Kashif nominated in theft case.
\nA three member bench of SC presided over by the CJP Qazi Faez Isa took up the case for hearing Wednesday.
\nThe CJP remarked the police have not even asked about license from the person from whose home the arms were stolen. The owner is pleading the guilty himself that two Kalashnikovs. one pistol and other valuable things were stolen. I have been offered that I should get license of Kalashnikov. Drugs and Kalashnikov ruined Pakistan. Likewise no one wanders in the world by holding Kalashnikov in large vehicles with black glasses.
\nHe asked the petitioner from where Kalashnikov reached him.
\nThe CJP remarked If IG is giving papers of Kalashnikov this way then as to why action should not be taken against him. We write to interior secretary all should return Kalashnikov and their licenses.
\nPeople are seen standing with Kalashnikov if you go to school or market. If they fear then they should stay in homes. They come outside for the reason to frighten the people so that they could demonstrate their influence. In Islamabad guards are standing outside the residences by holding Kalashnikov. People with black glasses take along with them Kalashnikov. Police don\u2019t dare to ask from them.
