After the unfortunate demise of late H.E. Islam Kairmov the former president all the major political parties in the Republic of Uzbekistan are thoroughly engaged in the upcoming presidential elections to be held on December 4, 2016. Presidential elections 2016 has already been started in the country and various kinds of political activities have also been practiced at different stages. Political process of rigorous consultations and nominations are being hosted. In process of politicization, nomination of presidential candidates have been completed and announced in Uzbekistan.
\nIt shows the real power of the true spirits of democratization which may easily manage any human and natural hurdle. It upholds the real essence of democracy where political parties tend to play very important role. It reconfirms that democracy is the \u201cReal Vector\u201d where personalities come second and \u201ccontinuation of system\u201d comes first. Last but not the least it also strongly negates Western propaganda about total denial and absence of democracy and political system in Uzbekistan.
\nContinuation of democracy also overshadows falsified media trail of pseudo intellectuals of the West. In genuine democracy \u201csuccession\u201d always belongs to \u201csystem\u201d and Uzbekistan\u2019s political system is perfectly balanced and purified. Its dynamic \u201cConstitution\u201d is the real custodian of all political rights and civil liberties.
\nElections are treated as deity of democracy which is very much alive on the soil of great country, Uzbekistan. Bible of modern civilization and political system heavily depends on democratic norms, freedom of expression, fair and free election commission, active participation of political parties along with accountability and transparency.
\nUzbekistan\u2019s political system is strong, stable and sustained enough to carry all these principles of a democratic society forward without any political or constitutional deadlock. It has its own unique system of \u201cgood governance\u201d where deliverance matters to achieve the desired goals of socio-economic prosperity, tolerance, social justice, rule of the law and above all accountability in the society.
\nAccording to Central Election Commission (CEC), Uzbekistan’s interim President, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has been nominated to contest the upcoming \u201cPresidential Elections\u201d to be held on December 4, 2016. Mirziyoyev, Uzbekistan’s prime minister since 2003 is the \u201cbest choice\u201d of his political party.
\nUzbekistan’s Liberal-Democratic Party nominated Mirziyoyev at a convention. The same party had nominated Karimov for the presidency in 2007. Another party, Milliy Tiklanish (National Revival), nominated its own leader, Sarvar Otamurodov, deputy speaker of the legislative chamber of parliament.
\nLast week, Uzbekistan’s Parliament nominated Mirziyoyev as \u201cInterim President\u201d, after Senate Chairman Nigmatilla Yuldashev, who should have become transitional leader under the constitution, bowed out in his favor, saying Mirziyoyev had long experience in office and enjoyed the people’s respect and trust.
\nThe Milliy Tiklanish Democratic Party of Uzbekistan for the position of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan supported and nominated Sarvar Sadullayevich Otamurodov, for the positon of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He is leader of the party\u2019s faction in the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis, Parliament.
\nFurthermore, the law \u201cOn elections of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan\u201d the party will submit relevant documents to the Central Electoral Commission to obtain permission for the participation of the Milliy Tiklanish Democratic Party of Uzbekistan in the elections of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
\nThe Central Council of the People\u2019s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan (PDPU) also took place. The Chairman of the Central Council of the PDPU and leader of the party\u2019s faction, Hotamjon Abdurahmonovich Ketmonov, who had been supported by voters, followers and active members of the party has been nominated as a candidate from the party for President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for consideration at the party\u2019s congress.
\nAnother political party The Adolat Social Democratic Party of Uzbekistan (SDPU) took place. It has supported and nominated leader of the party\u2019s faction in the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis Nariman Majidovich Umarov as its presidential candidate for the upcoming Presidential Elections 2016.
\nUnder the Uzbekistan dynamic constitution, a presidential election must now be held within three months, and Mirziyoyev, the interim President is widely expected to be elected. He is a noble Uzbek politician who has been Prime Minister of Uzbekistan since 2003. Following the death of President Islam Karimov, he was appointed by the Supreme Assembly as interim President of Uzbekistan on 8 September 2016.
\nMirziyoyev graduated from the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Melioration in 1981. He holds a PhD degree in Technological Sciences. He served as governor of Jizzakh Region from 1996 to September 2001, then as governor of Samarqand Region from September 2001 until his appointment as Prime Minister in 2003. He was nominated as Prime Minister by President Islam Karimov on December 12, 2003 and approved by the Uzbek parliament. The electoral commission announced on 16 September that Mirziyoyev would stand in the December 2016 presidential election as the candidate of the Liberal Democratic Party.

\nShavkat Mirziyoyev is the \u201cbest choice\u201d to be elected as next President of Uzbekistan. His political party strongly supported his candidature in its latest meeting. He is a man of principles. He knows the art of governance. He has been in the realms of governance since 2003 as \u201cPrime Minister\u201d of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He has great passions for achieving a qualitative life for his common people, immense socio-economic development and above all rule of the law.
\nEvery political party in Uzbekistan is totally free to nominate and contest the upcoming Presidential Elections to be held on December 4, 2016. It shows the beauty of democracy which is the \u201cbinding forces\u201d among the different political parties and factions of the society. Democracy is supreme and respected in Uzbekistan which has further strengthened the spirits of good governance in the country. It is the \u201cwill of people\u201d which is always respected as a \u201cbalancing factor\u201d in the political arena of Uzbekistan. It is \u201cfree choice\u201d of the voters which is accounted and documented in its true sense.
