PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Secretary Amir Sultan Tareen has said that government officials should ensure good governance by resolving the issues of public, adding that the spirit of honesty and sincerity must be the motto of all government employees in the province.<\/p>\n

He made these remarks while addressing the farewell ceremony in hosted in honor of director treasury and account Syed Akbar and district controller of account Mardan Hidayatullah.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, Secretary Finance congratulated Additional Secretary Finance Kamran Khan on assuming the additional charge of Director Treasury.<\/p>\n

The ceremony was attended by Additional Secretary Finance Faiz Alam, Deputy Secretary Finance Saleem Khan, DCA Peshawar Aftab Ahmed, Treasury Officer Dr Yaqub Ahmed, ATO Wahid Iqbal, Section Officer Zeeshan Khan, President of Treasury and Account Association Syed Abid Ali Shah and other officers.<\/p>\n

Speaking on this occasion, Finance Secretary Amir Sultan Tareen termed integrity and endurance best qualities for a government official.<\/p>\n

He said that the retired officers were living examples of this and their services will always be a beacon for the new officers. Earlier, Additional Secretary Kamran Khan paid tribute to both the officers.<\/p>\n

He said that that the honorable retirement of any government officer is a matter of great honor.<\/p>\n

The retired officers are among the capable and hardworking officers.<\/p>\n

Retired officers Syed Akbar and Hidayatullah said that they consider themselves very fortunate that they tried to fulfill the responsibilities assigned to them by the department. Their services are always present for the department and this province.<\/p>\n

Later, Secretary Finance Amir Sultan Tareen distributed shields and gifts among the retired officers and other participants in recognition of their excellent services in the department.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
