\nPakistan Army continues its commitment ato empower women in remote areas with the inauguration of the Women\u2019s Skill Center at Peochar, Swat. Established in collaboration with local elders and NGOs, this initiative aims to provide women with essential skills for economic independence and self-sufficiency.
\nThe Women\u2019s Skill Center, launched last year, recently celebrated the successful completion of its first three-month course. During a special ceremony, participants were awarded sewing machines and cash prizes as recognition of their dedication and achievements.
\nThe curriculum included training in sewing, embroidery, pico technique and handicrafts, equipping women with valuable skills for employment and entrepreneurship.
\nThe closing ceremony also featured an exhibition showcasing the sewing and embroidery masterpieces crafted by the local women during the course.
\nThe event garnered significant praise from the community, highlighting the positive impact of the Skill Center on women\u2019s lives. Encouraged by the overwhelming response, the Women\u2019s Skill Center is set to commence its second edition in February, with a growing number of women eager to enroll.
