\nSpecial Assistant to the Prime Minister for Human Rights (HR) and Women Empowerment Mushaal Hussein Mullick has termed the Pakistani women immensely talented and contributing immensely to the uplift of Pakistan\u2019s economy, social development and nation-building.
\nShe expressed these views while addressing a ceremony \u2018Daughters of Pakistan\u2019 held on the eve of the International Women’s Day at the Centaurus Mall to acknowledge the Pakistani women\u2019s achievements in social, economic, cultural, and political sectors.
\nThe day serves as a focal point in the women’s rights movement highlighting issues such as gender equality, reproductive rights, and combating violence against women.
\nOur women are vibrant, resilient, and courageous making great efforts to achieve their goals, said Mushaal Mullick. She appreciated the organizers for hosting an event that aims to recognize and appreciate the contribution of Pakistani women in various fields including education, business, politics, sports, arts, and culture.
\nThrough this initiative, The Centaurus hopes to create awareness among people about the importance of supporting and encouraging women in achieving their dreams.
\nCEO of The Centaurus, Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan, SVP Sardar Group, Sardar Dr. Rashid Ilyas Khan women employees of The Centaurus, faculty and students of the National University of Modern Languages (NUML) and members of the Lions Club attended the event and reposed their trust in the talent and vision of the Pakistani women.
\nMushal said as a Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, she dedicated herself to initiating measures that ensured equal opportunities for women to participate fully in national, economic, and political affairs, aligning with constitutional guarantees and international standards against gender discrimination under the Prime Minister’s vision.
\nShe expressed a desire for a higher level of women’s participation in national affairs, highlighting the current low levels and the need for improvement. She also shed light on the gross human rights violations happening in Indian-occupied Kashmir and urged the world to wake up and hold accountable for the massive human rights violations in Indian Kashmir, terming it the largest prison in the world.
\nSpeaking at the event, Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan reaffirmed commitment to promoting women’s rights, participation, and empowerment. He stated that The Centaurus was doing its part to ensure that the voices of Pakistani women are heard loud and clear. He highlighted the platform’s role in championing women’s causes through exhibitions, events, and festivals, aiming to inspire more women to take up challenges and achieve greatness in any field they choose. This dedication to empowering women and supporting women-owned businesses reflects a strong stance on gender equality and inclusivity within the organization.
