\nIn a major setback to Karachi Kings, 13 players of the team got food poisoning, sources close to the team told Geo News on Thursday.
\nOne of the players was also moved to a local hospital after his condition worsened, sources revealed.
\n\u201cThe players didn\u2019t get ill after ordering food from outside the hotel since that was not allowed,\u201d a source close to the team added.
\nHowever, Karachi\u2019s team management is hopeful that they will be able to field a team for today\u2019s match against Quetta Gladiators at the National Bank Stadium.
\nDaniel Sams and James Vince also didn\u2019t feature in Karachi\u2019s last match due to the same reason.
\nLast night, Islamabad United bagged their second victory of PSL 9 after they won against Karachi Kings by seven wickets at National Bank Stadium.
