{"id":397570,"date":"2024-04-01T09:25:17","date_gmt":"2024-04-01T04:25:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/?p=397570"},"modified":"2024-04-01T09:25:17","modified_gmt":"2024-04-01T04:25:17","slug":"over-450-illegal-connections-disconnected-under-sngpl-crackdown","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/over-450-illegal-connections-disconnected-under-sngpl-crackdown\/","title":{"rendered":"Over 450 illegal connections disconnected under SNGPL crackdown"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Haroon Siraj<br \/>\nSWAT<br \/>\nSui-Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has accelerated crackdowns against thieves and disconnected more than 450 illegal gas connections in different parts of the Lower Dir.<br \/>\nBriefing the media persons regarding actions against gas thefts throughout the Malakand Division,the Incharge SNGPL Malakand Region Mirwais Khan has said that the ongoing actions against illegal connections had been expedited, during which more than 450 illegal gas connections disconnected in the current crackdown at Damamo, bandagy, awaliya Banda ,tangay, nakhtaro koto and shahgay areas of lower dir.<br \/>\nHe said the operations are against illegal connections and gas thefts carried out by combined field teams from Swat, Batkhela and Dir early in the morning and disconnecting 4.5 KMs illegal network including more than 450 direct gas connections. FIR was registered against gas thieves in the relevant police station.<br \/>\nThe raid was supervised by Incharge Sub Area Swat in Coordination with Exec.Engineer Batkhela &#038; I\/C CC Dir.<br \/>\nThe raid was planned during last week in the most confidential manner and executed perfectly as planned.<br \/>\nThe gas authorities advised people to report illegal connections to 1199 so that uninterrupted gas supply to consumers could be ensured.<br \/>\nIt is noted to mention here that following an announcement by the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) that a \u201cmassive crackdown\u201d launched against gas theft across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Haroon Siraj SWAT Sui-Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has accelerated crackdowns against thieves and disconnected more than 450 illegal gas connections in different parts of the Lower Dir.
