\nMuhammad Faiq Shah, founder and chairman of the Amun Taraqqi Party expressed concern over a receiving of threatening letters to judges of superior courts, calling it an alarming one, which was highly condemnable.
\nIn a statement here on Saturday, Mr Shah said the actual target is strengthening of judicial institutions for the provision of speedy justice to people. He said people and the country would benefit when institutions could be strengthened.
\nFaiq blamed political parties for undermining institutions. He made it clear that stability cannot come until provision of justice to people at their doorstep.
\nThe party leader asked the government to remove all legal lacuna and provide relief to people. Shah said it is the responsibility of judges to provide an enabling environment for justice and fair trial.
\nOn the other hand, the ATP chief said people have fed up with false statements of a stabilized economy. Additional $120 billion demand, after that: \u201cwould make justice with this nation?
\nWould the country run through loans? Why don\u2019t governments and financial institutions and responsible think? Why are the country\u2019 resources, investment, trade and industries not strengthened?
\nWhy are the obstacles in the way of enhancement export? These are all questions, which people are asking from the rulers, Shah said.
\nThe ATP chief said former and present rulers, both are responsible for the current crippling situation. He said rulers must face this challenge.
\nShah asked for proactive steps for congenial atmosphere and smooth path for promotion of business, trade and investment. Those who are creating hurdles in the way of justice, authority and progress aren\u2019t loyal with people and the country, he added.
\nThe party head said the country should be run as per law and constitution by halting ongoing distribution of public offices and positions.
\nHe called for a drastic cut in government and cabinet lavish expenses by imposing complete ban on high-profile protocol, incentives and luxuries.
