The Minister encouraged partners to support the Health Department in digitalizing the remaining 22 districts.<br \/>\nDHIS2 is an open-source web-based platform used in over 100 countries to improve healthcare services through evidence-based planning and management. With UNICEF\u2019s support, the Health Department has successfully launched DHIS2 operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.<br \/>\nThe transition from DHIS to DHIS2 and achieving World Bank\u2019s Disbursement Linked Indicators (DLI-6) was made possible by the DHIS Cell, DGHS, with UNICEF\u2019s support.<br \/>\nUNICEF is supporting the launch in districts Battagram, Charsadda, Khyber, Kohat, and Swat, and has pledged to extend support to District Torghar. UNICEF has also equipped health facilities with modern gadgets and stationery and conducted capacity-building training.<br \/>\nUNICEF Health Team Lead, Dr. Inamullah Khan, termed the launch of DHIS2 a significant milestone for the digitalization of the Health Department.
