\nISLAMABAD
\nDetermined for establishment of a \u201cDrug Free World\u201d Anti-Narcotics Force Pakistan seized 3036.078 Kgs narcotics valuing Rs 2.44 Billion internationally, arrested 25 culprits involved in drug Smuggling and impounded 10 vehicles conducting 26 counter-narcotics strikes throughout the country.
\nThe seized drugs comprised of 2945.83 Kg Hashish, 68.4 Kg Opium, 16.46 Kg Heroin, 2.6 Kg Methamphetamine, 1 Kg Crystal, 4000 Xanax Tabs, 3000 Diazepam Tabs and 1000 Ecstasy Tabs.
\nIn an intelligence based operation, ANF Quetta seized 1150 Kg Hashish from general area of Kund Malir, Sub Tehsil Liyari, District Lasbella. In another intelligence based operation, ANF Quetta recovered 1610 Kg Hashish from General area of Killi Dolangi, Tehsil Gulistan and District Qilla Abdullah.
\nIn third operation, ANF Quetta recovered 7 Kg Heroin from Mountainous area of Ghar Goshkaal, Tehsil Yak Mach, District Chagai. In fourth operation, ANF Quetta raided at Killi Zai Simley, Quetta and recovered 70 Kg Hashish. As per initial information, the recovered drugs were intended to be handed over to another narcotics gang. In fifth operation, ANF Quetta recovered 12 Kg Hashish from personal possession of the accused indentified as Gull Muhammad resident of Quetta. He was arrested near Gol Mosque, Satellite Town, Quetta.
\nANF Rawalpindi intercepted a Motorcycle near Takbeer Coloney, Kamra Road, District Attock and recovered 1.5 Kg Hashish from personal possession of the two accused identified as Abdul Rehman resident of Attock and Arsalan Haider resident of Sargodha. In another operation, ANF Rawalpindi arrested Muhammad Shabir Khan resident of Bagh, Azad Kashmir at Islamabad International Airport and recovered 4.250 Kg Heroin, which was concealed in his trolley bag.
\nHe was boarding for Doha by Flight No. QR-615. In third operation, ANF Rawalpindi arrested Noman Khan resident of Bannu at Islamabad International Airport and recovered 870 gram Hashish from his trolley bag. He was Boarding to Bahrain by Flight No. GF-771. In fourth operation, ANF Rawalpindi arrested an accused identified as Mehrab Shah resident of Sawabi at Shell Petrol Pump, opposite Lari Adda, Attock and recovered 1.3 Kg Hashish from his personal possession.
\nIn fifth operation, ANF Rawalpindi intercepted a Toyota Corolla Car from a parking area of Islamabad International Airport and recovered 4000x Xanax Tabs (weighing 518 gram), which was concealed in travelling bag. Resultantly two accused identified as Javed Iqbal and Saeed Ullah both residents of Lower Dir were arrested during the operation.
\nIn sixth operation, ANF Rawalpindi intercepted a Bedford Truck near Chungi Number 26 Bus Stop, Islamabad and recovered 14.4 Kg Hashish and 50.4 Kg Opium which was concealed in spare tyre of the said truck. Resultantly two accused identified as Zahid Hussain resident of Faisalabad and Nadeem Sajid resident of Toba Taik Singh were arrested during the operation.
\nIn seventh operation, ANF Rawalpindi arrested an accused identified as Syed ParisAli Alias resident of Islamabad and recovered 3.6 Kg Hashish from his personal possession. He was arrested near D Watson, Karachi Company, Islamabad.
\nANF Lahore intercepted 2x Motorcycles near Anwar Chowk, Shadia Morr, Mianwali and recovered 900 grams Hashish from personal possession of the two accused identified as Asmat Ullah and Muhammad Arshad both residents of Khushab.<\/p>\n
In another operation, ANF Lahore intercepted a unattended Corolla Saloon Premio Car near Gojra Toll Plaza, Faisalabad and recovered 18 Kg Opium and 49.2 Kg Hashish from secret cavities of the said car. In third operation, ANF Lahore arrested Stana Gul resident of Sawabi at Multan International Airport and recovered 1.1 Kg Methamphetamine, which was concealed in his luggage.
\nHe was boarding for Riyadh by Flight<\/p>\n
No. GF-789. In fourth operation, ANF Lahore intercepted a Toyota Corolla car near Expo Centre,
\nJohar Town, Lahore and recovered 5 Kg Hashish from the door of the car. Resultantly two accused
\nidentified as Inam Ullah and Khanzada both residents of Peshawar were arrested during the
\noperation. In fifth operation, ANF Lahore arrested Rehmat Ullah resident of Mardan at Multan
\nInternational Airport and recovered 800 gram Methamphetamine, which was concealed in
\nvegetables. He was boarding for Saudi Arabia by Flight No. PK-715. In Sixth operation, ANF Lahore
\nintercepted a UK bound parcel from a private cargo office, located at Allama Iqbal International
\nAirport, Lahore and recovered 1.1 Kg Heroin and 660 gram Hashish, which was concealed in
\nlaryngoscope (surgical Items). In seventh operation, ANF Lahore intercepted a Suzuki Wagnor car
\nnear Emporium Mall, Lahore and recovered 1.7 Kg Heroin, which was concealed in 5x Cartons out
\nof which 20x Lamps. Resultantly two accused were arrested identified as Muhammad Sikandar
\nresident of Lahore and Asif Raza resident of Karachi.
\nANF Peshawar intercepted a unattended Toyota Corolla car and recovered 8.4 Kg Hashish,
\nwhich was concealed in rear seat of the said car. In another intelligence based operation, ANF
\nPeshawar intercepted a Hino Troller and recovered 18 Kg Hashish, which was concealed in spare
\ntubes laying in toll box. Resultantly two accused were arrested identified as Noor Islam and Fayaz
