\nThe Acting President, the Prime Minister and the Services Chiefs have felicitated the nation on the observance of the 26th anniversary of Youm-e-Takbeer.
\nIn his message on the day, Acting President Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani has reiterated the resolve to continue working towards a peaceful and stable world.
\nHe said, on this day, we successfully demonstrated our nuclear capabilities and joined the ranks of nuclear powers.
\nThe Acting President said that Youm-e-Takbeer serves as a testament to our nation\u2019s resilience, unwavering determination, and commitment to maintaining regional peace and stability.
\nHe said Pakistan, as a responsible nuclear state, firmly believes in the peaceful resolution of conflicts.
\nCongratulating the nation on Youm-e-Takbeer in his message on social media platform X, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the day symbolizes the collective effort of all facets of national power.
\nThe Prime Minister said on this day, the entire nation vowed for the integrity of this country that no compromise will be made by accepting any kind of external pressure on country\u2019s defense.
\nHe said Youm-e-Takbeer is a day to pay tribute to the then Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the Pakistan Army\u2019s initiative to make country\u2019s defense impregnable.
\nThe Prime Minister also paid tribute to former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and scientists for their role in initiating and continuing Pakistan\u2019s nuclear programme.
\nThe Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and the Services Chiefs have also felicitated the nation on Youm-e-Takbeer.
\nIn a statement, ISPR said that Armed Forces pay tribute to the unwavering dedication and selfless sacrifices of all those who contributed to this remarkable feat, achieved against overwhelming odds.
\nIt said the Armed Forces of Pakistan reaffirm their unwavering resolve to defend the motherland, protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity, and ensure the nation\u2019s security at all times and at any cost.
\nPunjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has stated that Youm-e-Takbeer is a day of pride not only for the Pakistani nation but also for the Islamic world.
\nIn her special message on this historic day, she congratulated the nation and expressed her admiration for every member of the team involved in the national defence mission.
