\nTariq Khan, the founder of Clean and Green Pakistan, while announcing the start of a twenty cleaning and unity march from Peshawar to Karachi in October, said that the youth should join the nationwide clean-up campaign to present a better image of Pakistan to the world.
\nHe expressed these views while addressing a meet-the-press program at Mardan press club. Dr. Zahid Khan Yousafzai was also present at this occasion. Prominent social worker Tariq Khan said that it is his mission to keep Pakistan clean and to fulfill this mission he has left the luxurious life abroad.
\nHe said that he started the campaign from 2014 and in the sit-in of a political party, he continued to carry the responsibility of picking up garbage on a daily basis. He argued that Health problems will be less if there is cleanliness. I don\u2019t have any political goals but it makes my heart sad to see educated people throwing garbage and dirt. He said that there are 48 crore hands of 24 crore population.
\nHe said that he is an Australian citizen. Some time ago he came to Pakistan with his two-year-old daughter.
\nHe added that his daughter raised the question of why Pakistan is so dirty. On her daughter\u2019s question, she established the Clean and Green Pakistan Organization.
\nHe added that this organization is regularly registered, thousands of youths are part of this organization, so far this campaign has been carried out by selling their fathers\u2019 property.
\nThey argued that the country doesn\u2019t need the forest department because the enemy of the trees is the forest department. If their ambitions work, they will eliminate this department. Tariq Khan said that we have to tell people that planting trees is a reward and charity.
\nIf plants and trees are planted, the country will be green and the impact of climate change will be reduced. He said that all schools of thought, especially the youth, should be part of this campaign.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
