\nSindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori has said that by providing equal opportunities to women players in sports, we can empower them so that they can pave new ways and horizons for future generations.
\nHosting the inter-provincial women softball championship is an honor for Sindh, this championship will further promote equality and mutual respect between the provinces.
\nHe expressed these views while unveiling the trophy of the 1st PNSC Inter-Provincial Women\u2019s Softball Championship in a grand ceremony held at the Sindh Governor House.
\nSoftball Federation of Pakistan President, Asif Azeem, Senior Vice President Dr. Farhan Essa, Vice President Tehmina Asif, PNSC General Manager Admin Commodore Masood ul Hasan, Assistant Manager Admin Ayesha Leena were also present on this occasion.
\nGovernor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori said that as Governor of Sindh, I am proud that Sindh is hosting the first women\u2019s softball championship at the inter-provincial level.
\nFrom this event, along with increasing equality and mutual respect, the message of national unity will be promoted across the country.
\nBy organizing the championship, while the passion for softball among the women of Sindh will grow, new talent will also emerge.
\nHe assured the Sindh Softball Association of all possible support for hosting this historic championship and said that I am also grateful to other sponsors including PNSC for making this championship a success.
\nThe President of Softball Federation of Pakistan Asif Azeem said that the patronage of softball by the Governor of Sindh is welcome for this game.
\nOn May 30, the opening ceremony of the championship will be held at KPT Football Stadium, Karachi, while the final of the championship will be played on the evening of June 1, he added.
\nSSA President Dr. Farhan Essa said that we are fortunate that the unveiling ceremony of the championship trophy was held at the Governor House.
\nOrganizing the championship will be very helpful in the promotion and development of softball in the country. PNSC General Manager Admin Commodore Masood-ul-Hasan said that an environment of healthy competition between women players will be created at the provincial level.
