Media can report court\u2019s proceedings. Bar is not on reporting but bar is on irresponsible reporting, he gave these remarks during the hearing of petitions filed by Press Association Supreme Court (PASC) and Islamabad High Court Journalists Association (IHCJA) here Wednesday.<br \/>\nThe petitioners Fayyaz Muhammad, Rizwan Qazi and Aqeel Afzal appeared in the court.<br \/>\nThe CJ IHC remarked there is no bar on court\u2019s reporting. Media can report court\u2019s proceedings. Bar is not on reporting but bar is there on irresponsible reporting. Problem is created when a sensational ticker is run.<br \/>\nPEMRA filed its reply in the court.<br \/>\nBarrister Umar Ijaz Gillani and Riasat Ali Azad president Islamabad Bar Association appeared in the court.<br \/>\nThe court inquired from Additional Attorney General (AAG) has federal government any relevance with this matter.<br \/>\nAAG Munawar Iqbal Dogal said this is PEMRA related matter and federal government has nothing to do with it.<br \/>\nBarrister Umar Ijaz Gillani said there is no bar on reporting pending hearing cases in the law from which PEMRA has taken help.<br \/>\nThe court summoned final arguments on next hearing besides adjourning hearing of the case till June 11.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD Chief Justice (CJ) Islamabad High Court (IHC) Aamir Farooq has remarked there is bar on irresponsible reporting and not on court\u2019s reporting.
