\nSays Shadab is most reliable player as he has played under all conditions

\nPakistan skipper Babar Azam Wednesday said that he was fully focused on winning the T20 World Cup 2024, highlight that individual goals could be achieved later.
\nSpeaking to media persons in Dallas, Babar stressed: \u201cWhat my team requires of me is my commitment, rather than focusing on personal records.\u201d
\n\u201cWe have come to the United States well-prepared. We have a clear mindset on what kind of game we would play,\u201d Babar remarked. \u201cOur aim is to perform well in the World Cup and achieve success.\u201d
\nReflecting on past experiences, Babar said that the team had played under such conditions in past as well.
\n\u201cOur batters have been training indoors and bowlers have been honing their skills on the field,\u201d he remarked, highlighting the optimum utilisation of available facilities for practice.
\n\u201cIf there are no warm-up matches, it made us no difference as we have been constantly playing,\u201d he stressed.
\nRegarding the T20 World Cup matches held so far, Babar noted the absence of high-scoring games.
\n\u201cSome of our players have previously played in the US. This gives them an understanding of the conditions here,\u201d he said, adding that all-rounders Shadab Khan, Imad Wasim and fast bowler Haris Rauf have an experience of playing here.
\nBabar stressed the importance of adaptable plans for the team, saying, \u201cWe strategise according to what is the best for our team. No batter\u2019s position is fixed. The position can vary depending on the situation.\u201d
\n\u201cUnfortunately, Saim Ayub could not perform as was expected of him. He is a game-changer, but he could not get the opportunity he needed,\u201d he said.
\nMeantime, he expressed confidence in Shadab Khan, and said, \u201cAs a captain, I have trust in every player, with Shadab being the most reliable as he delivered under all sorts of conditions.\u201d
\nDiscussing the upcoming match between Pakistan and the United States on June 6, the skipper expressed faith in his team\u2019s ability to excel.
\n\u201cThe home conditions favour the US, but I believe in our team\u2019s ability to play good cricket,\u201d he affirmed.
