PESHAWAR
\nChairman, Amun Taraqqi Party Muhammad Faiq Shah called for burying politics of confrontation and initiating collective efforts to strengthen institutions, democracy and country.
\nMr Shah while talking about persistent uproar in the upper and lower house of the parliament here on Friday said people have elected representatives and sent them to parliament to make legislation for public welfare and betterment of the country.
\nBut, he said a tug of war between legislators being witnessed for protection of vested interests and no debate on present economic chaos and public miseries.
\nHe added verbal onslaught is manifestation of non-seriousness of parliamentarians toward materializing manifesto and promises.
\nThe party leader asked to make parliament a hub of legislation for public welfare and country progress.
\nHe stressed the need of setting aside political and personal differences and working together for prosperous and radiant Pakistan.
\nFaiq criticized that the government committed murder of people\u2019s hopes, which once again surrendered before the harsh conditions of IMF and burdened people with heavy taxes.
\nHe gave a wakeup call to politicians that if they won\u2019t take serious steps for removal of deprivations then people will hold strict accountability and be forced into rebellion.
\nDespite rule over people for decades, what has been done for people\u2019s betterment, uplift of education, health and social sectors?
\nThe ATP chief asked rulers to stop making poor people scapegoat.
\nShah alleged the PML-N led coalition government was continuously focused on distribution high-positions.
\nHe added that the government and prime minister were only busy in convincing coalition partners to safe their throne and rule.
\nHe added no is paying heed to miseries of poor people.
\nThe ATP chief said Pakistan stands at a critical juncture, which is posing various challenges at internal and external fronts.
