However, its repair by CDA was quite sub-standard as it has not been properly carpeted as yet due to which the road was spreading lot of dust pollution in I-9 and I-10 areas creating health hazards for the industrialists, road users and the residents of its surrounding areas.<br \/>\nThey said the main double road was providing access to Islamabad Dry Port and almost daily heavy duty vehicles and big containers were plying on this road to pick\/drop commercial consignments from\/at Islamabad Dry Port. However, on account of its sub-standard repair work, the vehicles plying on this road were sending off clouds of dust in the air due to which pedestrians, motorcyclists and people living in the vicinity of this road were inhaling dust, which was dangerous for their health.<br \/>\nThey stressed that Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation and CDA should pay immediate attention to this important road and arrange its urgent carpeting to save the people from dust pollution and to facilitate the smooth promotion of business
