Lawyers complete arguments on bail pleas
\nISLAMABAD
\nArguments of lawyers have been completed on bail pleas of PTI leaders Shoaib Shaheen, Aamir Mughal and others in Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad.
\nThe case of protest and violation of section 144 came up for hearing against PTI leader Shoaib Shaheen and others in ATC Islamabad Saturday.
\nShoaib Shaheen, Aamir Masood Mughal and Alamgir Khan appeared in the court along with their counsels.
\nDefence counsel Riasat Ali said Shoaib Shaheen is senior lawyer and member of Pakistan Bar. How can the terrorism clauses be imposed on him. There is nothing such like in the video. Forensic of video is to be conducted.
\nATC judge Tahir Abbas Sipra questioned what recovery has to be made from Shoaib Shaheen and others.
\nDefence counsel said what recovery has to be made. This is request that videos be seen, There is nothing therein. Aamir Mughal and Alamgir are charged with tearing the uniform . Shoaib Shaheen is charged with snatching official wireless and pistol. There is official pistol and wireless in official duty. Its entry is made and there is a number of it. The allegations which are leveled are baseless. Only police is claimant in every case against us.
\nJudge Tahir Abbas Sipra remarked when you go against the government then government employees will become claimant.
\nThe defence counsel said these cases are made on political basis. New case is registered on every protest.
\nThe counsel Niaz Ullah Niazi said they could not prove any thing so far that which was wireless and which was pistol. Different cases carrying same allegations are being presented daily in this court.
\nFollowing the completion of the arguments, the court directed Aamir Mughal to join the investigation and adjourned the hearing of bail pleas till July 6.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
