{"id":419539,"date":"2024-07-21T09:41:19","date_gmt":"2024-07-21T04:41:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/?p=419539"},"modified":"2024-07-21T09:41:19","modified_gmt":"2024-07-21T04:41:19","slug":"qazi-faiz-in-favor-of-canceling-vacations-for-hearing-review-applications-in-reserved-seats-case","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/qazi-faiz-in-favor-of-canceling-vacations-for-hearing-review-applications-in-reserved-seats-case\/","title":{"rendered":"Qazi Faiz in favor of canceling vacations for hearing review applications in Reserved Seats Case"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> Islamabad<br \/>\nThe important points of the meeting of the 17th session of the Practice and Procedures Committee for scheduling cases hearing in the Supreme Court have been released.<br \/>\nA three-member practice and procedure committee including Justice Mansoor Ali Shah and Justice Muneeb Akhtar was held under the chairmanship of Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa on Saturday.<br \/>\nIn which important cases filed in the Supreme Court were reviewed<br \/>\nChief Justice Qazi Faiz is in favor of canceling vacations for hearing review applications regarding Verdict in Reserved Seats Case, and he has said that the right to review has been given by the Constitution.<br \/>\nThe comfort and convenience of the judges should not be given priority on the constitution; it would be unfair if the revision case is not fixed for hearing immediately.<br \/>\nThe Chief Justice disagreed with the majority decision, while Justice Mansoor Ali Shah and Justice Muneeb Akhtar clarified that only the full court can cancel the leave.<br \/>\nThey said that only the 13 judges who heard the main case can hear the revision. The detailed decision of the case has not been issued.
