\nMansehra is known for its natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere, making it an attractive destination for tourists. The city and its surrounding areas offer a range of attractions and activities like the Kaghan Valley, Naran and the Saiful Malook Lake. The local community is also known for its hospitality and warm welcomes to visitors.
\nThis has been stated by District Police Officer ( DPO ) Mansehra Shafiullah Gandapur while talking to a delegation of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry which called on him under the leadership of former President ICCI and Secretary General United Business Group Zafar Bakhtawari.
\nShafiullah Gandapur said that the Mansehra police is playing a vital role in promoting tourism in the area by extending maximum facilities to tourists which will surely have a positive impact on the local economy and community.
\nHe went on to say that by establishing national brands in Mansehra, the city can promote its unique identity, create employment opportunities and contribute to the national economy. He also expressed the hope that other national brands will follow suit and establish their businesses in the region for the benefit of its people as well as for the promotion of commercial activities.
\nTo mark the occasion, the DPO honored Mr. Zafar Bakhtawari by donning him with a traditional turban and presenting him with a gun, in accordance with time-honored Pakhtoon customs. On his part, Zafar Bakhtawari expressed gratitude to the DPO for maintaining peace and supporting tourism development in the area.
\nHe briefed the DPO on ICCI\u2019s initiatives to promote businesses in the capital city and urged the KP government to develop infrastructure along the Silk Road, including rest areas, mosques, washrooms, first aid centers and Tourism Facilitation Centers to enhance tourism, which in turn will benefit the local community and increase foreign exchange earnings.
\nAppreciating the role of Shafiullah Gandapur in North Waziristan, he said that the persons like Gandapur should initiate dialogue with the terrorists to overcome the menace adding that Shafiullah Gandapur is a brave and visionary Police Officer and the government of Pakistan must fully utilize his capabilities to address the problem of terrorism along the Afghan border.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
