\nChairman, Amun Taraqqi Party Muhammad Faiq Shah said constitution and laws are only obedient to rulers and elite class in Pakistan.

\nShah in a statement here on Saturday said rulers have also confined themselves to palaces and castle-like buildings wherein access of poor people is impossible.
\nHe said legislations made overnight for political survival and protection of personal vested interests but oppressed and poor people languishing in courts and police stations, aren\u2019t paying attention to their plea and justice undelivered to them.
\nNot a thousand but millions of people were being faced with hardships and dying owing to rising inflation and pro-elite policies of the incumbent government, he added.
\nIrony of this country, constitution was changed to protect two legislators, Shah said.
\nHe said Apex court and lower judiciary are confined to only political and high profile cases.
\nWhere will people\u2019 miseries be addressed?
\nThe ATP chief said rulers have always run constitution, law and the state affairs as per their aspirations and always turned them toward their own side by making a nose of wax [Mom Kii Naak].
\nHe said the game of power gain was intact by politicians and dictators.
\nHe said people have remained victims of oppressive segments.
\nHe added no forum to mitigate sufferings of helpless and needy people.
\nShah said legal assistance and the government didn\u2019t take responsibility.
\nHe emphasized that lawyers, people and experts should work together for public justice.
\nThe party leader said society was destroyed in a surge of injustice and inequality.
\nFaiq said his party has brought a system wherein free legal assistance, delivering justice at doorstep and decisions on a fast-track basis to be ensured.
