PESHAWAR: Chairman, Amun Taraqqi Party Muhammad Faiq Shah said public revolution always came when exploitation would cross its limits, resultantly everything was swept away. Shah said in a statement here on Tuesday that the growing social and economic injustices, gender-based inequity and meritless policies are the basic factors that become the cause of public uprising. He called for an end to the oppressive system and pro-elite policies must be ended. He warned Pakistan would face the Bangladesh like situation if the government failed to take corrective steps immediately. Our rulers should learn a lesson from Bangladesh and end oppression and provide justice and authority to people, Mr Shah asserted. The party leader said all political parties, institutions and stakeholders should initiate collective struggle to address the major issues of the country. \nShah strongly backed the stance of the Pakistan Army, which stated that the mafia doesn\u2019t want progress in the country.
\nHe said ATP is striving for public authority and justice.
\nThe party leader said that the oppressive economic system has crushed the poor and called for socioeconomic uplift of the downtrodden segments of the society.
\nThere is a tall story of pain and suffering of the poor, and it will take a long time to heal their wounds that were received through rulers in the form of inflation, he added.
