\nJI Amir Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman has said government wants to avert them through verbal talks but \u201c we will not return by believing on any future promise.
\n\u201c we have come here to seek due rights of the people and not have come here for begging. If government gives this right on its own then situation will not reach the point of snatching these rights. If no sincere and positive reaction comes from government then we will very soon change the nature and configuration of Dharna. IPPs are plundering the hard earned money of people. How long will we continue to fill their belly, he said this while addressing press conference on 14th day of Dharna in Liaqat Bagh Rawalpindi.
\n\u201cToday two weeks of dharna have been completed but the participants of dharna are determined. Because our demands are demands of every citizen of Pakistan. Our demands are just and implementable. It is our desire relief is provided to people of Pakistan because paying electricity bill has become next to impossible for the people. The industries are closing down. Laborers are becoming jobless. IPPs will have to be bridled, he added.
\nEvery government set up IPPs since 1994 which is causing loss to Pakistan. why should we pay thousands of rupees to them.
\nBhasha dam project costs Rs 1400 billions, he said adding the dam was to be built up at far less cost than it but our hard earned money is being looted by IPPs.
\nTax on salary will not be tolerated at any cost. Tax is being received on every thing. Middle class will go where. They want people to become robbers. he remarked.
\nJI Dharna is a peaceful dharna and we have kept situation under control because Pakistan cannot afford any chaos more. Space is widening between government and institutions.
\nHe demanded tariff for salaried class be curtailed. Why feudal class is enjoying exemption in Pakistan.
\nThere are 22000 to 25000 people in FBR and even then corruption of Rs 1299 billions has come to open therein .
\nHe went on to say this net is ruining the entire Pakistan.
