\nAdviser to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sports and Youth Affairs Syed Fakhar Jihan has directed the relevant authorities to speed up the construction work on various sports grounds and other related facilities in Mardan district.
\nHe issued these directive while presiding over a meeting, here at Civil Secretariat in Peshawar, wherein, progress related to the development projects of the Sports Department in Mardan district, reviewed.
\nProvincial Food Minister Zahir Shah Toro, Director General Sports Abdul Nasir, Director Works Ahmad Zeb, Director Development Munir Abbas and Chief Planning Officer Sports Department participated in the meeting.
\nSports advisor was given a detailed briefing by the department regarding the completed and progress of under-completion schemes in the district and it was informed that the construction of a sports complex has been completed in Tehsil Rustam of Mardan, while a women\u2019s gymnasium and multi-purpose facilities hall in the district have also been completed.
\nSimilarly, a scheme in the provincial ADP project of upgradation of sports complexes is under completion at Mardan.
\nHe was further informed that under the provincial project for establishing sports grounds at the tehsil level, one scheme is completed in Mardan, while under an another project for the maintenance of squash courts, two courts have been completed in the said district and another will be completed as soon as possible. .
\nOn this occasion, it was informed that 17 schemes have been completed in Mardan under the mega provincial project of establishing sports grounds at the Union Council level in the district.
\nDuring the meeting, the advisor directed that the speed of work on the projects being completed at different places of Mardan district should be accelerated so that the remaining work can be completed in a short time and the people can benefit from them as soon as possible. .
\nHe said that the government is fully committed to provide facilities for healthy activities for young generation and the provision of sports grounds and other infrastructural facilities are projects, reflecting government such vision and resolve which are completing for the people and youth of the province<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
