They also demanded the forthwith release of PTI founder Imran Khan. The demands were made at a meeting held here on Wednesday at Chakdara Fishing Hut and chaired by Swat City Mayor Shahid Ali Khan. Addressing the meeting, Swat City Mayor Shahid Ali Khan demanded the restoration of the Local Government Act 2019 to its original form and announced a protest movement for the release of PTI founder Imran Khan. The local body representatives raised serious concerns about the deteriorating law and order situation in Malakand Division, and law enforcement agencies were urged to take action. A coordination committee was established, with representatives from each district. The committee members include, Shahid Ali Khan mayor Swat as President Dr. Khalil from Bajaur as Information Secretary, Feroze Shah,Tehsil Adinzai Chakdara as Finance Secretary. Saeed Khan from Swat Kabal, Rozi Khan from Buner and others were named as members of the committee.
