{"id":425479,"date":"2024-08-18T08:15:12","date_gmt":"2024-08-18T03:15:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/?p=425479"},"modified":"2024-08-18T08:15:12","modified_gmt":"2024-08-18T03:15:12","slug":"lhc-orders-all-respondents-to-file-reply-on-next-hearing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/lhc-orders-all-respondents-to-file-reply-on-next-hearing\/","title":{"rendered":"LHC orders all respondents to file reply on next hearing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Internet shut down case<br \/>\nInternet and social media applications have been shut down in the country without any notice and reason<br \/>\n LAHORE<br \/>\nLahore High COURT (LHC) while announcing reserved judgment on the petition against internet shut down all over the country has ordered all the respondents to file the reply on next hearing.<br \/>\nThe court while summoning one representative each of federal government, ministry of information and PTA on next hearing ordered that representative of every respondent should ensure attendance in court room on next hearing.<br \/>\nThe court adjourned further hearing of the case till August 21.<br \/>\nIt may be mentioned that recent shut down and disruption of internet was challenged in LHC.<br \/>\nThe petition was filed by Nadim Sarwar naming federal government, PTA and others respondent.<br \/>\nThe stance was taken in the petition that internet and social media applications have been shut down in the country without any notice and reason.<br \/>\nBusiness and every field of life is being affected due to this disruption.
