\nThe land owners of different government schools of Mardan staged a protest rally outside the Mardan press club against the provincial government and education department for not giving them class four jobs.
\nLarge numbers of land owners participated in the protest rally. The protest rally was led by Class Four Association provincial president Afsar Khan Khaski, Chairman of Land Owners Association Qamar Zaman, President of Class Four Association Khair Muhammad, General Secretary of Class Four Association Gul Muhammad, General Secretary of Class IV Association Khurshid Ahmad and others.
\nLater on addressing to a news conference at Mardan press club the speakers said that said that the government had asked us for Class IV jobs three years ago in 36 new government schools in Khawaja Rishka, Khanjar Kali, Toru Mara, Takhtbhai, Katlang and other areas.
\nThey added that the government promised them they will appoint them to class four posts in the school. They argued that on this promise they gave million rupees worth Land free to the government.
\nThey added that the government has constructed schools on their land and the teaching is also started in these schools for three years, but despite the passage of many years, we are not being given class four jobs.
\nSpeakers said that their sons were recruited on class four posts and also appointed the sons of retired employees on Class IV seats because the land owners have given crores rupees land without receiving any price from the government.
\nThey added that their rights are being attacked, which we do not accept under any circumstances. They argued that most of our problems have been created by political people and elected members.
\nThey added that politicians are recruiting their blue-eyed people instead of landowners on class-based posts. Speakers said that one chowkidar is doing round-the-clock duty in schools, so the posts should be increased to appoint other chowkidars while a security room should be made for security personnel in schools.
\nThe speakers said that if our demands are not accepted by August 30, the schools will be locked and all the responsibility will fall on the provincial government and the relevant authorities.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
