{"id":430451,"date":"2024-09-11T09:03:17","date_gmt":"2024-09-11T04:03:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/?p=430451"},"modified":"2024-09-11T09:03:17","modified_gmt":"2024-09-11T04:03:17","slug":"ji-landi-kotal-for-resuming-of-pak-afghan-highway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/ji-landi-kotal-for-resuming-of-pak-afghan-highway\/","title":{"rendered":"JI, Landi Kotal for resuming of Pak-Afghan highway"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> KHYBER<br \/>\nJamat-e-Islami (JI) Landi Kotal chapter demanded of the Koki Khel tribesmen to resume supply of edibles and other necessary commodities to tehsil Landi Kotal, suspended last day in protest.<br \/>\nAddressing to a press conference tehsil Ameer JI,Murad Hussain Afridi flanked by Naib-Ameer Abdurrauf Shinwari and General Secretary Irfan Afridi said that besides the main Pak-Afghan highway, a passage in spillway for supply of tehsil Landi Kotal and small passengers vehicles was also suspended that multiplied problems of the residents.<br \/>\nHe urged the government and the security agencies to forthwith address miseries of the Koki Khel IDPs and adopt necessary initiatives to ensure their repatriation as soon as possible.<br \/>\nAlthough we support the demand of repatriation of Koki Khel IDPs to their areas in Tirah Valley but in spite of the fact, the supply was blocked that disheartened the residents of Landi Kotal, he maintained.<br \/>\nHe went on to say that for the rights of approximately six thousands IDPs, suffering of more than two hundred thousand dwellers of Landi Kotal was unfair.<br \/>\nHe also came hard on parliamentarians of Khyber and said they failed to resolve the problems of the people.<br \/>\nIt is to be mentioned here that for more than three weeks, the Koki Khel tribe Internal Displaced Persons (IDPs) have blocked the Pak-Afghan highway in protest demanding safe repatriation to their respective villages in Rajgal area of Tirah Valley.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KHYBER Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Landi Kotal chapter demanded of the Koki Khel tribesmen to resume supply of edibles and other necessary commodities to tehsil Landi Kotal, suspended last day in protest.
