{"id":430673,"date":"2024-09-12T07:37:44","date_gmt":"2024-09-12T02:37:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/?p=430673"},"modified":"2024-09-12T07:37:44","modified_gmt":"2024-09-12T02:37:44","slug":"committee-formed-to-oversee-kps-transmission-company-affairs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/committee-formed-to-oversee-kps-transmission-company-affairs\/","title":{"rendered":"Committee formed to oversee KP\u2019s transmission company affairs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>DLP Report<br \/>\nPESHAWAR<br \/>\nIn a bid to enhance the management of the electricity transmission system, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Transmission and Grid Company (KPT&#038;GC) has formed to oversee administrative and financial affairs, paving the way for improved operational efficiency.<br \/>\nBased on the committee\u2019s recommendations, experienced senior officers with relevant expertise will be appointed to key positions within the company.<br \/>\nFurthermore, a comprehensive business model will be developed to facilitate the practical implementation of various upcoming projects, said an official handout.<br \/>\nThis significant development marks a milestone in the province\u2019s efforts to strengthen its electricity transmission infrastructure, ensuring a more reliable and efficient power supply for the region.<br \/>\nIn this regard, the 10th board of directors meeting of KPT&#038;GC was held under the chairmanship of Chairman Board Secretary Energy and Power Nisar Ahmad Khan.<br \/>\nIn the meeting, the company\u2019s Chief Executive Muhammad Ayub and other board members including advisor power Tila Muhammad, Special Secretary Energy Irfan ullah, Additional Secretaries Energy Department Shah Fahad, Abdul Haseeb, Additional Secretary Finance department Asif Rasheed, Chief P&#038;D Kamran Khan, Director HR &#038; Admin PEDO Mohammad Idrees Khattak and Deputy Secretary Energy Ijaz Khan also attended the meeting.<br \/>\nDuring the meeting, the chairman board was informed about the progress regarding the appointment of staff to run the administrative affairs of the company and other financial matters.<br \/>\nThe chairman board Nisar Ahmad Khan emphasized on the implementation of the prevailing laws related to the purchase of vehicles and other essential items for the company.<br \/>\nA milestone towards the improvement of the electricity system in the province can be achieved through this company, he added.<br \/>\nMoreover, Nisar Ahmed Khan reiterated his determination that KP Transmission and Grid Company will soon create a new history by transmitting the cheap electricity generated from the completed projects of PEDO through its system, which is no less than an honor for the province and its people.<br \/>\nThe BoD approved the assignment of additional charge as company secretary to Deputy Secretary Energy Ejaz Khan.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DLP Report PESHAWAR In a bid to enhance the management of the electricity transmission system, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Transmission and Grid Company (KPT&#038;GC) has formed to oversee administrative and financial affairs, paving the way for improved operational efficiency.
