The employees gathered in front of Peshawar Press Club (PPC) and staged a demonestration against the retrenchment of employees from the authority. The protesters alleged that the provincial government is according discriminatory treatment to the employees of the authority, saying that although the employment contracts of 65 employees expired last year, they are still working on their seats.
