\nPESHAWAR
\nBoard of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar on Thursday announced its results for intermediate examinations, with girls scoring all top three positions. A total of 1, 23,903 candidates appeared in the exams, out of which 106334 were declared successful.
\nAccording to documents, all three positions in pre-medical and pre-engineering were bagged by female students.
\nIn Pre-Medical, Jinnah College students Kinza Bibi secured the overall first position with 1166 marks out of total 1200 while Yamna Tayyab of the same college got the second position and Iman Khalid of a private college secured the third position in the examinations.
\nSimilarly, in pre-engineering, Khunsa, a student of a private college took the first position and Noor Aliman took the second position and Shama, a student of a private college secured third position.
\nA total of 61 217 students participated in the second year exam of which 56117 passed declared successful and 62886 participated in the 11th grade out of which 50 207 declared successful.
\nIn the Darsi-e-Nizami group , a student of Islamia College Peshawar , Jawad Ahmad, secured the first position by securing 876 marks.
\nIn the Humanities group, the first position was shared by two female students including Sira Gul of Iqra Huffaz Secondary School and College for Girls and Hafiza Umama Syed of the same college both secured 1094 marks.
\nThe second position was secured by Hunsa from P.E.F Post Graduate College by securing 1093 marks while Hifza Amir from Jinnah College for Women got 1089 marks and secured third position.
\nArif Khan, Controller of Examination BISE Peshawar, said that conducive environment was provided to the students appearing in the intermediate examinations and strict examination halls from board office through CCTV cameras were ensured to not spoil the harwork of the intelligent students.
\nMoreover, this year the process of online submission of admission forms of HSSC Part-I & Part-II was put in vogue along with other facilities like online re-totaling, migration and verification of testimonials, he added.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
