\nThe nazim of the Islami Jamiat -e-Talaba, student wing of the JI, Taqweem-ul-Haq has expressed serious concerns about the dire financial and administrative crises plaguing all public sector universities of the province.
\nAddressing a press conference at the Peshawar Press Club (PPC), Taqweem-ul-Haq criticized the exorbitant annual fee increases that effectively shut the doors of education for many students.
\nHe also highlighted the rampant drug use in the greater campus area as a disgrace for the administration, accusing them of enabling such activities.
\n\u201cThe administration needs to wake up,\u201d he stated, emphasizing the shameful incidents of harassment occurring daily, including unauthorized individuals entering the campus to harass female students.
\nWith hundreds of police officers present, he questioned what the university administration was doing to earn their salaries and urged them to take responsibility for safeguarding campus property from mafia control.
