Organized by the Regional Sports Officer under the supervision of the Galiyat Development Authority (GDA), the tournament will feature 60 teams playing with tape-ball cricket.<br \/>\nA formal ceremony was held to unveil the trophy at the Abbottabad Press Club, attended by notable figures including Regional Sports Officer Ahmad Zaman Khan, Director of Tourism GDA Tahamas Khan, Manager of Abbottabad Cricket Stadium Shaukat Gul Jadoon, President of the Press Club Sardar Shafiq Ahmad, Tehsildar of Abbottabad Sheikh Liaqat, Assistant Sports Officer Nauman Khan Tanoli, Aqib Raqeeb, Assistant Aamir Shehzad, and Sports Journalist Shaukat Hussain. Cricket enthusiasts and players also graced the occasion with their presence.<br \/>\nIn their speeches, Tahamas Khan, Shaukat Gul Jadoon, Sardar Shafiq Ahmad, Ahmad Zaman Khan, and Junaid Rehman praised the Sports Department for its positive initiatives to promote sports and welfare for athletes, particularly focusing on the development of cricket and other sports in the Galiyat region. The Abbottabad Premier League is a significant step in this direction.<br \/>\nSpeaking at the event, RSO Hazara Ahmad Zaman highlighted that 60 teams are participating in the league, and the draw has already been finalized. The league will officially kick off on October 6 at Khanspur Cricket Ground, with five matches scheduled for the opening day.
