The issue of the new programme\u0097the Resilience and Sustainability Facility (RSF)\u0097was raised by Pakistani authorities during a meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva. The meeting was held after the IMF board meeting on Wednesday and on the sidelines of the United National General Assembly session in New York. \u201cDuring the meeting, they discussed the urgent need of mobilizing adaptation financing for climate change,\u201d said a statement from the Prime Minister\u2019s Office on Thursday.
