{"id":434913,"date":"2024-10-03T08:36:52","date_gmt":"2024-10-03T03:36:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/?p=434913"},"modified":"2024-10-03T08:36:52","modified_gmt":"2024-10-03T03:36:52","slug":"steps-afoot-to-develop-kda-promote-tourism-sector-chen-zeb","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/steps-afoot-to-develop-kda-promote-tourism-sector-chen-zeb\/","title":{"rendered":"Steps afoot to develop KDA, promote tourism sector: Chen Zeb"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>DLP Report<br \/>\nPESHAWAR<br \/>\nAdvisor to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister on Tourism and Culture Zahid Chen Zeb has said that collective efforts and pragmatic steps would be taken to ensure the progress of the tourism sector in the province.<br \/>\nHe expressed these while chairing a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Kaghan Development Authority (KDA).<br \/>\nSecretary Tourism and Culture, Commissioner Hazara Division, Director General (DG) KDA, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the authority and other relevant officials attended the meeting.<br \/>\nJamil Ahmad, Chairman Board of Directors of the KDA briefed the Advisor on the ongoing land zoning and demarcation, uplift programs and other projects in the region during the meeting<br \/>\nCM Aide said that the influx of tourists in Kaghan presents immense opportunities for the promotion of tourism and consequently regional economic growth.<br \/>\nHe further stated that since tourism and the hotel industry are interdependent the process of obtaining NOCs for the hotel industry should be simplified.<br \/>\nZahid Chen Zeb expressed concerns about the arrangement of land zoning and demarcation stating that it should be aligned with people\u2019s financial capabilities.<br \/>\nRegarding the Board of Directors\u2019 meeting with the CM KP, Zahid Chen Zeb mentioned that the meeting would be possible after presenting a clear five-point agenda.<br \/>\nHe added that the KDA does not lack resources and serious steps are needed to utilize these resources for the development of the region.<br \/>\nThe Advisor further stated that heavy machinery for completing development projects and handling emergencies in the area would soon be provided to the KDA.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DLP Report PESHAWAR Advisor to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister on Tourism and Culture Zahid Chen Zeb has said that collective efforts and pragmatic steps would be taken to ensure the progress of the tourism sector in the province.
