KP Government executed 242 out of 319 cabinet decisions<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet has held a total of 15 meetings so far, in which 319 important decisions were made, out of total 242 decisions have been implemented completely, and whereas remaining 77 decisions are in the process of implementation.
\nThe decisions made during cabinet meetings include 76 important decisions related to the Finance Department, 51 related to the Law Department, and 26 related to the Local Government Department, 19 decisions related to the Planning Department, 34 to the Home Department, 27 to the Education Department, and 28 to the Health Department.
\nSome of the key decisions of the provincial cabinet include; the approval of important legal drafts, funds for development projects, and other public welfare initiatives, in addition to approval of Memorandums of understanding, agreements and important policies of the government.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>A review meeting held here on Monday with the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Khan Gandapur in the chair, took stock of the progress made on the decisions of the cabinet meetings. The participants were informed that a total of 2564 new vacancies have been approved in the cabinet meetings. Moreover , Rs. 8.5 billion has been released for the deserving households under the Ramadan package. Additionally, 1356 new vacancies have been approved to strengthen police in the province, and Rs. 600 Million have been released for the purchase of armored vehicles for the police.<\/p>\n

It was also told that 698 new vacancies have been approved for Traffic Police. Some Rs. 20 million has been released under the Shuhada Package for the heirs of police martyrs whereas the quota for children of martyrs has been increased through amendments to the relevant act for ASI recruitment.
\nSimilarly, Rs 1.10 billion has been released for the purchase of 327 kanals of land for the 88 MW Ghabral Kalam Hydro Power Project. The royalty share for oil and gas producing districts has been increased from 10% to 15%. 479 new posts have been created in the primary and secondary education sector.<\/p>\n

The authorities also informed that pragmatic steps have been taken to speed up work on important development projects, adding that the cost of the Shakai Dam in South Waziristan has been increased from Rs. 87 crore to Rs. 1.69 billion and Rs. 15.65 billion has been approved for the Pehur High-Level Canal project. An additional fund of Rs. 56 crore has been approved for the Kundal Dam in Swabi.
\nIn addition, grants-in-aid amounting to Rs. 470 million approxmitaley have been provided for three cadet colleges in merged districts. Grants-in-aid of over Rs. 17.5 crore have also been provided for eight model schools in merged districts. Similarly Rs. 24 crore has been released for the \u201cILM TOLO DA PARA\u201d program in merged districts, whereas Rs. 1.5 billion has been released as grant-in-aid for public sector universities.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>It was further told that Rs. 5 billion was released in March for the Sehat Card program, followed by release of Rs. 3 billion on monthly basis. Rs. 27 crore has been released for international standard training of in-service nurses in collaboration with the University of Chester, UK and Rs. 50 crore has been approved for the existing endowment fund for promoting sports activities in the province. Apart from this, Rs. 1.15 billion has been released for timely repair of electricity transformers in all constituencies of the province. As many as Rs. 45 crore has been released for ration support for temporary displaced persons (TDPs) in North Waziristan. Similarly, over Rs. 55 crore has been allocated for emergency tents and other essential items for the Kuki Khel tribe of Khyber District.
\nSimilarly cabinet approval has accorded for establishing a Debt Management Fund to improve financial discipline in the province, and Regional Development Committees have been formed at the divisional level to ensure timely completion of development projects and quality of work. The royalty rates for minerals have been increased by amending the relevant act to enhance provincial revenue generation, whereas a Minerals Development and Management Company has been established for better utilization of natural resources.
\nIt was told that Rs. 72 crore has been released for various TMAs in merged and settled districts.<\/p>\n

Moreover, , the monthly wage of laborers has been increased from Rs. 32,000 to Rs. 36,000, whereas approval has been granted for the establishment of a special fund to support deserving families in the province.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
