\nThe provincial chairman of Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) Sikandar Hayat Khan Sherpao has strongly criticized the provincial government\u2019s handling of growing insecurity in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, particularly in the southern districts.
\nHe expressed alarm over the recent attack on a school in South Waziristan and the kidnapping of seven police personnel during an assault on a check post in Bannu.
\nIn a statement, Sherpao emphasized that the law and order situation has deteriorated to alarming levels, with kidnappings of police officers in broad daylight and attacks on schools becoming increasingly common.
\nHe pointed out that the central and provincial governments are focusing more on political struggles, such as the PTI protest, rather than addressing the urgent issues of public safety.
\nSherpao lamented that the people of the region are being subjected to uncertainty, fear, and a growing sense of insecurity.
\nHe called for the government to prioritize law and order, involve all stakeholders, and engage Pakhtun leadership to create a unified strategy to restore peace.
