\nChief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur on Wednesday ordered the mapping process for patwar khanas across the province be completed within 51 days and directed the administrative officials to ensure that public forums are held regularly in their districts, with a focus on improving public service delivery and governance.
\nHe issued the directives while chairing a meeting to review progress on the implementation of the Chief Minister\u2019s 99-point Awami Agenda, said an official handout.
\nRelevant officials attended the meeting and briefed the chief minister on the progress made so far in implementing the agenda.
\nThe forum was informed that a total of 429 open courts have been organized, including 27 for women, 17 for minorities, 14 for farmers, 18 for special persons, and 11 for traders.
\n431 cleaning campaigns were conducted in educational institutions, with 843 public toilets cleaned across the province.
\nAdditionally, 590 canals, 1066 roads, 287 recreational areas, and 298 bus stands have been cleaned.
\n7267 vacant spaces were cleared of garbage, while 1195 blocked drains were opened, and 1509 drains cleaned and 439 sewer lines have been cleaned, 101 repaired, and 368 illegal dumping sites cleared. Furthermore, 4359 dustbins have been installed for public convenience, the meeting was told.
\nThe meeting was told that under the agenda clean drinking water has been provided in 114 public parks, and 169 benches have been installed.
\n11697 water tanks were cleaned, 497 washrooms and 100 waiting rooms were maintained at bus stands, and more than 300 dustbins were placed at tourist sites and over 6300 street lights have been repaired, 4500 installed, and 1188 illegal speed breakers removed.
\nIn the meeting, Chief Minister Gandapur emphasized the need for effective monitoring at the district level and called for regular inspections of patwar khanas.
\nHe reiterated that negligence in the implementation of these initiatives would not be tolerated, with clear instructions for divisional and district-level authorities to intensify efforts in ensuring progress. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
