Spokesperson for CM Gandapur condemns attacks on media workers and vehicles

\nKhyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur reiterated the commitment to a peaceful protest during his address to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers participating in the protest convoy in Islamabad.
\nHe stressed the importance of following PTI Chairman Imran Khan\u2019s directive to gather at D-Chowk in Islamabad and not to advance beyond it without explicit instructions.
\n\u201cImran Khan has always taught us to remain peaceful,\u201d Gandapur remarked. \u201cD-Chowk means D-Chowk,\u201d said a statement issued by CM media cell.
\nWe will not go beyond it until directed by Imran Khan.\u201d He called on workers to uphold discipline, reminding them of the sacrifices made by their ancestors for the country\u2019s freedom.
\nGandapur urged participants to be wary of disruptive elements attempting to disturb the peaceful nature of the PTI protest.
\nAddressing the crowd earlier, Bushra Bibi, wife of PTI Chairman Imran Khan, emphasized the strategic importance of D-Chowk as the designated protest site.
\nShe noted that conspiratorial elements might attempt to redirect the protest elsewhere. \u201cImran Khan told me to ensure that the workers reach D-Chowk at all costs,\u201d she stated, urging participants to remain peaceful and focused.
\nThe statement said that PTI leader Hammad Azhar also addressed logistical concerns for workers traveling from Punjab, advising them to avoid main roads and social media until they reached Islamabad to ensure safety.
\n\u201cThose traveling should consider alternative routes and announce their presence only upon arrival in Islamabad,\u201d Azhar recommended.
\nPTI leaders emphasized discipline and non-violence as central to the protest\u2019s success, reflecting their broader message of peaceful advocacy.
\nMoreover, the spokesperson for Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur Faraz Ahmed Mughal has strongly condemned the recent attacks on media offices and vehicles, attributing them to a group of anarchists aiming to sabotage PTI peaceful protest efforts.
\n\u201cThese attacks are orchestrated by anarchists, which Ali Amin Gandapur has previously warned about,\u201d Mughal stated. He alleged that the government is using these tactics to prevent media coverage of the ongoing PTI protest. \u201cThe real aim of these acts is to suppress the coverage of PTI,\u201d he added.
\nThe spokesperson reaffirmed PTI\u2019s stance on the importance of the media, referring to it as the \u201cfourth pillar of Pakistan.\u201d He highlighted the party\u2019s consistent support for journalists and media representatives, stating, \u201cPTI and Ali Amin Gandapur have always stood by media representatives on every issue.\u201d
\nMughal accused the government of exploiting individuals posing as PTI workers to carry out these disruptive activities to conceal their failures. \u201cThese anarchists have now been exposed.
\nBoth the public and the media are aware of their true actions,\u201d he asserted.
