\nFollowing the directives of Health Advisor Ihtesham Ali, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa health department has repatriated staff who had been serving in the Health Secretariat in roles unrelated to their original postings for years.
\nAdvisor Ihtesham Ali stressed the importance of employees serving in their designated positions and reaffirmed that only qualified individuals would be appointed to specific roles.
\n\u201cThe perception that there are no competent personnel in the Secretariat must end,\u201d he stated, adding that appointments would be made through interviews to ensure merit-based selections.
\nAccording to an official notification, 17 employees have been repatriated, including a Grade 18 pharmacist from the Drug Control Authority, who had been serving as Deputy Secretary Drugs and Secretary Pharmacy Council. Similarly, a Grade 17 Assistant Director and a Superintendent have returned to their original posts.
\nAdditionally, two computer operators, three assistants, and seven junior clerks from Grades 16 and 11 have been reassigned to their respective departments.
