Petition against the physical remand of Mati Ullah Jan was filed by advocate Imaan Mazari Friday. The petition said Mati Ullah Jan has been arrested in false and fabricated case. The petition filed by Imaan Mazari further said all the evidence are available and it can be checked from CCTV footage that her client had gone to PIMS hospital and he was lifted from therein and was shown arrested later. On the other side IHC Bar Association (IHCBA) hile condemning the abduction and FIR against Mati Ullah Jan has termed the case ridiculous and pack of lies. IHCBA said arrest of Mati Ullah Jan is attack on freedom of press. Judicial inquiry be got conducted into the matter, case be dismissed forthwith and Mati Ullah Jan be released. It is pertinent to mention here that as per FIR car of Mati Ullah Jan was signaled to be stopped at Islamabad barricade on November 28 night and constable Mudassar who was on duty was injured being hit by car. Mati Ullah Jan snatched arms from police constable and threatened to kill him after the car stopped. The accused was intoxicated.
