Gandapur backs Madressah registration process

\nChief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sardar Ali Amin Gandapur says that provision of quality education and health facilities at the door steps of the citizens of the province is our utmost priority.
\nAddressing the sixth Convocation of Gomal Medical College in Dera Ismail Khan today, he said that the provincial government is focusing on the expansion of higher education to the far flung areas especially merged districts of the province.
\nThe Chief Minister called education and medical professions pillars of the society. He said that both professionals plays an important role in serving humanity.
\nAli Amin Gandapur said that medical students after completion of their study must serve the citizens on humanitarian grounds.
\nHe said that we are focusing on the provision of modern health facilities in rural areas of the province and so far more than twelve hundred health centres are made functional.
\nHe emphasized that doctors must perform their duties in hard and far flung areas as we are facing acute shortage of medical staff in these areas.
\nHe said that the quota for the students of merged districts in Gomal Medical College will be increased so that after graduation these doctors may willingly perform their duties in native areas.
\nThe Chief Minister also distributed medals among the students of various sessions of the college during the ceremony.
\nCM KP Ali Amin accused the government of directly targeting workers of his party, PTI, by opening fire on them at D-Chowk, resulting in 12 deaths and 107 missing workers.
\nGandapur claimed that the government\u2019s actions were meant to instigate civil unrest and spread hatred within the country, pointing out the number of injured and arrested individuals.
\nHe also highlighted ongoing negotiations with the government in the interest of the nation, but made it clear that PTI is prepared to take further action if the government does not engage in talks.
\nTo a question, he said that providing secular education alongside religious education in madrasas was the priority of the provincial government.
\nIf madrasas were registered, it would help provide educational opportunities. He also acknowledged that the government is providing benefits to registered mosques, viewing the registration of madrasas as a positive development to help ensure their better regulation and support.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
