\nAdvisor to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Finance and Inter-Provincial Coordination Muzzammil Aslam has claimed that the Pakistan\u2019s industrial development has been frozen due to the current government\u2019s poor policies, and the industrial growth rate was a mere 0.2 percent in October, based on data issued by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.
\nIn an official statement issued here on Tuesday Mr Aslam criticized the government\u2019s claim of economic recovery, pointing out that the 0.6pc industrial growth in the first four months of the current year is being touted as a success.
\nIn contrast, during Imran Khan\u2019s government, industrial growth was at 12pc, exports were booming, and employment was at its peak.
\nThe advisor on Finance said that the country\u2019s economy is currently stagnant, with unemployment at an all-time high, and people are being forced to leave the country.
