\nChief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, has taken a significant step to address the ongoing tension in Kurram district by summoning an important meeting of the Provincial Apex Committee.
\nAccording to a statement issued from CM\u2019s House Peshawar, the meeting, which will be chaired by the Chief Minister at the Chief Minister\u2019s Secretariat, is scheduled for tomorrow.
\nThe primary agenda of the meeting is to review the current law and order situation in Kurram, assess the provincial government\u2019s efforts to restore peace, and discuss other related matters.
\nThe meeting aims to take crucial decisions regarding the provision of essential commodities and basic services to the people of Kurram, as well as to establish lasting peace in the region.
\nAdditionally, the forum will deliberate on the progress made by the Grand Jirga, a peace initiative set up by the provincial government.
\nThe committee will decide on the future course of action for ensuring enduring peace in the area, with input from all relevant stakeholders.
\nThe meeting will be attended by top civil and military leadership, members of the provincial cabinet, and officials from the relevant divisional and district administrations, ensuring a comprehensive approach to tackling the issues in Kurram.
\nCM Gandapur calls on MWM chief Allama Raja Nasir
\nKhyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur on Thursday held an important meeting with Allama Raja Nasir, the head of Masjid Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM), where they discussed the current situation and challenges facing Kurram district.
\nAccording to an official statement, during the meeting, the Chief Minister provided a detailed update on the situation in the district and the government\u2019s efforts to address the issues.
\nChief Minister Gandapur elaborated on the recent ceasefire measures, the timely supply of medicines and food to the area, and the ongoing progress of the Grand Jirga.
\nHe emphasized that while the government was focused on meeting the immediate needs of the people, it is also taking proactive steps towards a long-term solution to the district\u2019s challenges.
