\nAdviser to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information and Public Relations Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif on Thursday highlighting the provincial government\u2019s commitment to the development of the health sector. He praised the Sehat Sahulat Card, which he claimed has facilitated the treatment of millions of patients at a cost of billions of rupees.
\nHe expressed these during his visit to District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) Mardan.
\nA statement issued here stated that during his visit Dr Saif was briefed by the hospital administration, including Medical Superintendent Dr Javed Iqbal and Deputy Commissioner Dr Azmatullah Wazir.
\nHe was informed that DHQ Mardan was providing high-quality medical services to Mardan city and surrounding districts.
\nDr Iqbal raised concerns about the approval of house job vacancies at the hospital due to budget constraints.
\nBarrister Saif assured that the issues, including the house job vacancies and other financial matters, would be raised with the Chief Minister and health aide for resolution.
\nHe emphasized that despite funding cuts from the federal government, the provincial government continues to provide the best possible services with limited resources.
\nMr Saif also administered polio vaccine drops to a child at the hospital and honored the sacrifices of health workers and police personnel in the fight against polio.
\nHe acknowledged the efforts of those who lost their lives in the battle to protect children from diseases.
\nAt the end of the visit, the Deputy Commissioner and MS of DHQ Hospital presented commemorative shields to Barrister Dr Saif in recognition of his visit and contributions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
