Globally, punishments are handed down in line with domestic laws. No one claims that those involved in the May 9 incidents are innocent.\u201d He emphasised that international laws were not violated in sentencing the culprits.<\/p>\n<p>Chaudhry criticised PTI, alleging that the party has consistently attacked national interests. \u201cPTI used its funding to lobby against Pakistan\u2019s interests. They have always plotted against the country,\u201d he claimed.<\/p>\n<p>He stressed the importance of accountability in state governance, adding that the mastermind behind the May 9 incidents, currently imprisoned at Adiala Jail, must also be punished. \u201cThere will be no deals or amnesty. Punishments will continue as per the law,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Defending Pakistan\u2019s sovereignty, Chaudhry remarked, \u201cPakistan is a self-reliant state, and the world respects our laws.
