However, according to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market stood at Rs 278.60 and Rs 280.10 respectively. The price of the Euro increased by Rs2.45 to close at Rs 290.30 against the last day\u2019s closing of Rs287.85, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). The Japanese yen remained unchanged to close at Rs1.76, whereas an increase of Rs 2.74 was witnessed in the exchange rate of the British Pound, which was traded at Rs349.81 as compared to the last day\u2019s closing of Rs347.07. The exchange rates of the Emirates Dirham and the Saudi Riyal increased by 01 and 03 paisa to close at Rs75.86 and Rs74.22, respectively.
