{"id":455090,"date":"2025-01-14T18:02:58","date_gmt":"2025-01-14T13:02:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/?p=455090"},"modified":"2025-01-14T18:02:58","modified_gmt":"2025-01-14T13:02:58","slug":"rupee-sheds-5-paisa-against-dollar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/rupee-sheds-5-paisa-against-dollar\/","title":{"rendered":"Rupee sheds 5 paisa against dollar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pakistani rupee on Tuesday depreciated by 5 paisa against the US dollar in the interbank trading and closed at Rs278.72 against the previous day\u2019s closing of Rs278.67.<br \/>\nHowever, according to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market stood at Rs 279.05 and Rs 280.55 respectively.<br \/>\nThe price of the Euro increased by Rs 1.04 to close at Rs285.70 against the last day\u2019s closing of Rs284.66, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).<br \/>\nThe Japanese yen remained unchanged and closed at Rs1.77, whereas an increase of Rs 1.95  was witnessed in the exchange rate of the British Pound, which was traded at Rs340.19 as compared to the last day\u2019s closing of Rs338.24.<\/p>\n<p>The exchange rates of the Emirates Dirham and the Saudi Riyal increased by 01 and 02 paisa to close at Rs75.88 and Rs74.25, respectively.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pakistani rupee on Tuesday depreciated by 5 paisa against the US dollar in the interbank trading and closed at Rs278.72 against the previous day\u2019s closing of Rs278.67.
