\nProvincial minister for law advocate Aftab Alam has said that completion of education projects in district Kohat required close collaboration and constant communication among relevant departments.
\nHe expressed these views during a meeting held at the Civil Secretariat Peshawar regarding the ongoing development projects in Kohat.
\nThe meeting was attended by senior officials from the Departments of Elementary and Secondary Education, Planning and Development, and Communication & Works. During the session, the Minister of Law was given a detailed briefing on the ongoing projects in Kohat.
\nAdvocate Aftab Alam emphasized that obstacles in Kohat\u2019s educational projects will be resolved on a priority basis to address the region\u2019s deprivations. He instructed the prompt completion of projects to upgrade 70 primary schools to middle level, 70 middle schools to high level and 70 high schools to higher secondary level.
\nHe also stressed the immediate renovation of three dilapidated schools at Kohat and the resolution of the issue of inadequate washroom facilities in the area\u2019s schools. Furthermore, the Minister expressed disappointment over Kohat not receiving its share of foreign aid and underscored the need for effective measures to address this issue.
\nHe highlighted the importance of adopting an effective strategy for the timely completion of these projects to provide quality educational facilities to the people of Kohat and ensure the region\u2019s development.
\nDuring the meeting, the successful results achieved by students in double-shift classes at the board level were discussed. A proposal was put forward to initiate double shifts in the overcrowded schools at Kohat, which would also provide employment opportunities for eligible individuals.
\nAdditionally, the meeting suggested using rented buildings in areas of Kohat where high schools are located far from students\u2019 access.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
